Dr. Prentice J. Walker, 78, died February 14, 2004, at Forrest General Hospital. Services were Monday at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home with entombment in Roseland Park Mausoleum. Dr. Walker was a physician and a member of Court Street United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Walker. Survivors include: two sons, Prentice J. Walker II of Birmingham, AL., and John R. Walker of Ridgeland; two daughters, Susan Hilbun DeArmey and Michelle Elizabeth West, both of Hattiesburg; a sister, Janell Wright of Lafayette, LA. and six grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or United Blood Services.
