Charles and his brother Valentine arrived in the United States on 3 Jun 1849. Jacob is the grandfather of Jacob Schick d. Montreal, Canada 1937, who was the founder and inventor of Schick Razor. He was born in Ottumwa, Wapello, Iowa in 1877.
