He was a retired employee of J.P. Stevens & Co., Inc., Watts Plant, a veteran of World War II, and was a member of Laurens Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are his wife, Ruby Lee Cox Moon of the home; a son, Staff Sgt. Jimmy R. Moon of Security, Colo.; a brother, Furman Moon, of Fountain Inn; and a sister, Nellie Bridges of Atlanta, Ga.
Services: 3 p.m. Friday at Laurens Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
