ADAMSVILLE - Helen Tidwell Matlock, 80, homemaker, died of cancer Tuesday at Methodist Healthcare-McNairy County in Selmer. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Shackelford Funeral Home in Adamsville with burial in Adamsville Cemetery.
She was a member of Adamsville Church of Christ. Mrs. Matlock, the widow of Ermon D. Matlock, leaves four daughters, Ann Meeks of Henderson, N.C., Jane Cone of Southaven, Miss., and Shelby Hollin and Shirley Hollingsworth, both of Savannah; a sister, Faye Tidwell of Largo, Fla.; a brother, Royce Tidwell of Dyersburg, 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
