Emma Gene Osborne, 81, died on Wednesday, February 11, 2009.

She had lived in the Chattanooga, TN and North Georgia areas for most of her life and was a member of First United Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed teaching the Kindergarten Sunday School Class and was devoted to her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Floyd Osborne; brother, Marion Delaney; and son-in-law, Gary Blevins.

Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Blevins, of Rising Fawn, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Steve (Jane) Osborne, of Inman, SC and Phillip (Sally) Osborne, of Sumter, SC; sister, Anna Lee Deitch, of Chattanooga, TN; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with the Rev. Luke Camlic and the Rev. Ray Miller officiating.

Burial will follow in Tyner Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN.

The family will begin receiving friends after 3 p.m. on Friday and prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
