He was born in Greensburg Feb. 28, 1906 the son of Ira and Elizabeth McCormack Wonn. He graduated from the Greensburg High School before moving to Denver. he had maintained his membership in the Greensburg Masonic Lodge 36 for 63 years.
On May 27, 1950 he married the former Ruth Crawford, and she preceded him in death Jan. 7, 1988. He is survived by a step-daughter, Virginia Thayer; two sisters, Bertha Goakey, Kennewich, Wash., and Alice Nowlen, Denver, Colo.; and a brother, George Wonn, Denver, Colo.
Services will be at noon Friday in the Moore-Howard Funeral Home, East 17th Ave., Denver, Colo.
Burial with military rites will be in Fort Logan, Denver, Colo.
