She was born May 25, 1959, in Mansfield and later moved to Shelby. Mrs. Boggs was a 1977 graduate of Shelby High School and a 1980 graduate of Bluffton College.
She was a veteran of the Air Force, where she served four years as a weather forecaster. She was a member of the Screen Actors Guild and an active member of the Horse Cave Theatre Group. She was also a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Glasgow.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Jeffery Boggs; a daughter, Chauncey Elysse Boggs; a son, Dylan Allen Kane Boggs; her parents, Eugene and Barbara Sue Blevins Barber of Fort Wayne, Ind.; her grandfather, Ray Barber of Shelby; cousins, Dr. James Wells of Fort Wayne and Gary Robinson of Battle Creek, Mich.; and many friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Estill and Ella Blevins, and Bertis Barber.
Calling hours were to be held this morning at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home in Glasgow. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Glasgow. Burial will be in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Bowling Green, 884 Broadway, Bowling Green, Ky. 42101.
