Pauline Rackley Pullen
Pauline Rackley Pullen was born Sept. 12, 1924, in Ladonia, the last of seven children born to Luther Carroll and Cordelia Fields Rackley.She died Feb. 12, 2009, in Rowlett. Pauline was an active member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Farmersville until it became necessary for her to move into the Rowlett Health and Rehabilitation Center in Rowlett, where she resided at the time of her death.Survivors are one sister, Mary Hunt of Rowlett, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends, as well as good friends and "substitute" children Gary and Linda Richards of Garland and their children and grandchildren Summer Richards of Garland, Amy Richards Smith, husband James and children Everett, Olivia and Kevin Smith of Ravensdale, Wash., Leslie Richards and wife Mandy and sons Kelly and Jackson Richards of Oklahoma City, Okla., J. Randall Gladden and wife Elsie and son J. Randall Gladden II of LaMesa, Calif., Jack R. Gladden and children Meridian and Beckett Gladden of Garland, and Candis Beene-Rykowski and daughter Kylie Beene of Garland.She was preceded in death by her husband, W.L. Pullen; her parents; one sister and four brothers.A graveside service is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Princeton under the direction of Hurst's Fielder-Baker Funeral Home of Farmersville. Rev. Billy J. Harris will officiate. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
