Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Monday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Scott Carlson officiating. Burial will be in Haven Hill Memorial Garden.
Mrs. Wilkerson was born on September 30, 1913, in Marion County, the daughter of Charles R. and Lou Emma (McDowell) Michels. She married Paul Wilkerson on December 4, 1937. He preceded her in death on April 18, 2006.
She worked as a Registered Nurse at the Olney hospital and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Wilkerson is survived by her son, Joe M. Wilkerson and his wife, Opal, of Effingham; daughter, Jan Quillen and her husband, Art, of Granger, Ind.; six grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and one sister.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church.
