Mrs. Moore was born in Conway, a daughter of the late Willard D. and Lola Gardner Parker. She was a member of Jamestown Baptist Church where she was a member of the Lydia Sunday School Class, and attended the Ball Club at the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Moore was a part-time Beautician and homemaker. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Elizabeth ``Lib'' McMillan.
Surviving in addition to her husband of Conway are one son, Marvin Douglas Moore and his wife Phyllis D. of Decatur, Ala.; three daughters, Susanne Cotton and her husband, Russ of Marion, Jane Wentworth and her husband, Ricky of Mt. Pleasant, and Cathy Lane and her husband, Dan of Myrtle Beach; seven grandchildren, Angie Hucks, Chris Brown, Rusty Cotton, Jeremy Brown, Sean Lane, Jason Lane and Parker Moore; one great-grandson, Bryson Turner; and one niece Nancy Jordan of Conway.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday from Jamestown Baptist Church with the Rev. Robbin King officiating. Burial will follow in Waccamaw Presbyterian Church Cemetery, directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
