Gerald Thomas Kilna, 4-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kilna, 308 East Church street, Collinsville, died at his parents home Wednesday, a victim of poison he drank Tuesday.
The child picked up a bottle of liquid believed to be oil of wintergreen while playing near his home. he drank a protion of it and became violently ill.
In addition to his parents he is survived by two brothers, Joseph, Jr., and Gary Edward; a half-sister, Margaret Coulson, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. M. Coulson and Mrs. Elizabeth Klina.
The body is at the Kassly funeral home at Collinsville, where Deputy Coroner George Schroeppel was to conduct an inquest Thursday.
