Japhet Byram, son of, Ebenezer and Hannah (Hayward) Byram.

Japhet Byram headstone states his name as Jeptha Byram esq.
I have discovered that all the genealogy on him has been under the name Jephet. This is why I have listed his nickname as Japtha until I find which is correct.

Japhet Byram married Sarah Allen on December 13, 1742 in Bridgewater, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts. Sarah Allen is the daughter of Josiah and Sarah (Reed) Allen.

Some authorities claim Japhet died at the home of his son Nicholas in Byram Township, Sussex County, New Jersey.
Japhet moved to New Jersey with his father, Ebenezer.
