Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009, at San Jose Catholic Church with Father Valentine Jankowski, OFM, Conv. officiating.
Interment will follow in Santa Catarina Cemetery, Carlsbad, N.M.

Frank G. Franco was born April 17, 1950 in Carlsbad to Francisco S. and Margarita (Gomez) Franco. He enjoyed playing music including his guitar. He was preceded in death by his father, Francisco Franco, on Jan. 22, 2009, and brothers Thomas and Joe Franco.
Survivors include: one daughter: Sophie Marquez and husband Alex of Albuquerque; one son: Frank Franco, Jr. of Santa Fe; his mother: Margarita Franco of Carlsbad; three brothers: Sam Franco and wife Cecilia of Carlsbad; Jimmy Gomez and wife Debra of Bakersfield, Calif.; and David Gomez of Carlsbad; four sisters: Sally Methola and husband Rick of Carlsbad; Lorina De La Cruz of Bakersfield; Rose Ann De Bernardi and husband Weegee of Sacramento, Calif.; and Cecilia G. Mendoza and husband Manuel of Malaga, N.M.; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Robert Methola, Eugene Methola, Frank Methola, Samuel Franco, Jr., Joe Gomez and Adan Martinez.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lakeview Nursing Home, 1905 West Pierce Street, Carlsbad, NM 88220.
