Mrs. Sallie Barrow Dies in East Griffin.
Mrs. Sallie Elizabeth Barrow, 68, died Saturday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C.D. McLean, in East Griffin. She was the wife of the late Edgar Poe Barrow and was a native of Georgia.
Funeral services were held this afternoon, 4:00 o'clock from Mt. Gilead Church. Rev. John Rawls officiated. Interment was in the Barrow Family Cemetery in Pike County with Haisten Brothers in charge of arrangements. Grandsons were pall bearers.
Mrs. Barrow is survived by two daughters, Mrs. C.D. McLean, East Griffin,
and Mrs. A.L. Pitts, Roanoke, Ala., and a son, G.M. Barrow, Experiment.
