Mrs. William Roush
Mrs. Cora B. Roush, 90, died Tuesday about 9:30 P.M. at her residence
on Hillsboro Rt. 3. She was the widow of William Roush who died on
Aug. 10, 1952.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 P.M. at the Rhoads funeral home
with the Rev. Marie Broomhall officiating and burial following in Barnes
cemetery.
She was born in the Russell Station community on Feb. 15, 1868, the
daughter of John and Phoebe Southard Fenner. She was a member of the
Methodist Church at Russell.
She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Edingfield, Hillsboro Rt. 3,
Mrs. Hallie Losey, Hillsboro, Mrs. Phoebe Roush, Lynchburg, Mrs. Vivian
Shaffer, Lynchburg, Mrs. Vera Wilkin, Lynchburg Rt. 1: four sons, B. A. Roush,
Lynchburg Rt. 2, Arthur of Hillsboro Rt. 5, Earl of Hamilton and D. A. Roush at
home: 11 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
