BUEL ORLANDO EVANS

Mr. Buel Orlando Evans, age 53, an employee of the Armstrong Cork Co., died Friday night, May 1, 1964 in a local hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of Walton county and was a member of the Black Creek Methodist church.

Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday from the Black Creek Methodist church with the Rev. Donald Guy officiating. Interment followed in the Black Creek Cemetery, with the Comunder Funeral Home directing
Serving as pallbearers were: Kyles Laird, Curtis Cadenhead, Don Bliccard, Murdock Belser, Tommy McCormick and Charles Brannon.

Mr. Evans is survived by his wife, Mrs. Denice Evans, Freeport, one son, B. F. Evans, Freeport, one daughter, Mrs. Leola Edwards, San Simeon, Calif., and a step-son, G. H. McCormick also of Freeport. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Ixola Evans, Freeport, five brothers, Burl Evans, DeFuniak Springs, Cecil Evans, Destin, Huburt Evans, DeFuniak Springs, Herbert Evans, Ebro and Arnold Evans of Liberty. There is one sister, Mrs. Lois Evans, of West Bay. Seven grandchildren also survive.
