Norfolk-Oma Bowman Bagwell, 54, of the 300 block of Naval Base Road, died July 27, 1988, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mrs. Bagwell, a native of Pike County, Ky., is survived by her husband, Thomas H. Bagwell Sr.; a daughter, Barbara Taylor of Virginia Beach; a son, Thomas H. Bagwell Jr., of Lorton, Va.; her father, Frank E. Bowman; three sisters, Ruby Tabor of Norfolk, Christine Whittacker of Louisville, Ky., and Josephine Brickhouse of Chesapeake; three brothers, Robert L. Bowman, Raymond Bowman and Jerry L. Bowman, all of Norfolk; and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family from 7-8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
