SAVANNAH - Freeman Henry Strickland, 69, of Savannah, formerly of Tishomingo County, Miss., machinist, died Saturday at Methodist Hospital Central in Memphis after a long illness. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Shackelford Funeral Home with burial in Adamsville Cemetery.
Mr. Strickland, the husband of Jewel Younger Strickland, also leaves a sister, Cordie Bynum of Fort Worth, Texas; two brothers, Noonen Strickland of Corinth, Miss., and Truman Strickland of Daytona Beach, Fla.
