Jason was born to James David and Patricia Lee Smith Chapman Ferguson. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Samuel David and Alice Ruth Goodrich Chapman, and Robert L.Smith. He is survived by both parents, maternal grandmother Gladys, one sister, Melissa and husband Joey Jewell and one daughter Kenda Shea. Jason had a love for auto racing and Dale Earnhardt was his favorite driver. He also loved music and played the guitar. He is loved by all his family and is greatly missed.
