Funeral for Radie Irene Compton, 89, of Falkville was Saturday, May 1, at 11:00 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Andrew Patterson officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Mrs. Compton died Thursday, April 29, 1999, at Falkville Health Care Center. She was a native of Morgan County and the widow of Alton Compton.
She is survived by two sons, Roy Patterson of Cookeville, Tenn. and Gary Compton of Waynesboro, Tenn; two daughters, Elizabeth Bonner of Eagleville, Tenn. and Brenda Hightower of Hartselle; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were William Harris Barnette, Roy Wayne Patterson, W.C. Maze, Bill Pope, A.Q. Maze and Neal Pope.
