Clyde F Bush, 58, a retired US Air Force master sergeant, died at 5:07 pm Friday, Nov 27, 1992, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. his home in Parsons was at 1227 Dirr.

Mr Bush had undergone heart transplant surgery at the Hines VA Hospital in 1986 in Chicago. he had returned tot he hospital in Chicago for a examination and was returning to Parsons when he became ill and entered the hospital in Iowa city.

He was born July 27, 1934, in Parsons to Thomas and Ada (Garretson) Bush. he lived in Parsons during his early years attending Parsons schools, including East Junior High School. he lived with a sister Gloria Mashburn, in Richmond, Calif, in 1950 1951. He returned to Parsons in 1951 and was employed three years at the Carson Funeral Home.

In 1954, he enlisted in the US Air Force and served 20 years, retiring in 1974 at the rank of master sergeant. He was employed as a certified dental laboratory technician at the VA Hospital in Wichita from 1974 until 1985, retiring for health reasons. In November 1991, he returned to Parsons.

Mr Bush was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans, a life member of the American Legion of Wichita and was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons. he enjoyed camping, fishing and making jewelry.

Survived by his wife. Other survivors include two sons; two daughters; a stepson; two stepdaughters; 10 grandchildren; four brothers; four brothers, Wilbur Baker, Charles Bush, Henry Bush and Wayne Bush, all of Parsons; and a sister, Orlene Fuller of South Bend, Ind.

He was preceded in death by a son, T J Bush, four brothers and a sister.

The service will be at 2 pm Wednesday at the Burris-Carson-Wall Funeral Home of Parsons. Burial will be in the McCune Cemetery with full military honors.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association.
