Son of Bruce Crowley Stanton (1882-1965) & Agnes C. McCloskey (1882-??). They married on 10/27/1909 in Buchanan County, MO.

Bernard married Elizabeth Palmer Chappell (1902-1978) before April 1940, the 1940 U.S. Federal Census shows they are married. She died in Lakespur, CO in August 1978. There are no Find A Grave memorials for her.
