CAPT. WM. T. HASKETT DEAD
Well Known and Highly Esteemed Citizen of Southport.

Southport, N. C, Oct. 30. Capt. William T. Haskett died at his home in. southport yesterday, October 29, in his 69th year.
Captain Haskett was a retired pilot, formerly an active member of the Pilots' Association of the Cape Fear, and well known. Failing health caused Captain Haskett to withdraw from service about six years ago. Since that time he has lived quietly at home, a gradual failing health ending in death. He was a citizen held in esteem. His wife, four daughters, two sons, a sister and two half-brothers survive him.
The funeral services were held at the home this afternoon, at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. C. M. Lance, of the Methodist church. Interment was in the cemetery, here.
