Obituary:
"Mrs. Edith M. Amidon, 66, of 3 Fobes Island, Baldwinsville, died last night in St. Mary's Hospital after a long illness. A native of Sylvan Beach, she was a resident of Baldwinsville area 30 years. Surviving are her husband , Earl Amidon; a daughter Lucy Lawrence, Baldwinsville; a son, George Amidon, Cicero; a sister Cecile Rowe, Sylvan Beach; and four grandchildren.
Services will be 2 PM Friday at the Gates-Sears Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial will be in the West Monroe Cemetery. Calling hours are 7 to 9 PM today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM tomorrow at the funeral home.
