Graveside services for Boots Harris Bramhall, 87, will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Chaplain Dalan Larson officiating.


The daughter of Virgil and Dessie Wiggins Harris, Boots was born Oct. 18, 1921 in Ardmore, and went to her Lord Sunday morning, Feb. 8, 2009.
She graduated from Ardmore High School in 1940 and was the first majorette and band queen for the Ardmore Tigers. She was very active in the drill team and was a Rainbow officer. After graduation, she married Eddie Lee Bramhall on Jan. 11, 1948 in Gainesville, Texas and had three children.


She was an Avon Representative for many years and earned several sales awards with Avon. Boots was a beloved mamaw to her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved her Lord, her Bible, her church and her family and friends. She and her husband lived on Lake Murray and were active with camping, water sports and traveling.


She is survived by her daughters, Sheri Cook of Blanchard and Tami Cardinelli of Enid; her son, Jack Bramhall of Oklahoma City; a brother, Junior Harris of Houston, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Eddie on April 1, 2004; sisters Mary Hugh and Margaret and brothers Red and David Harris.


The family would like to express a special thank you for the loving care to Boots while she was at Brookside Nursing Facility in Madill.


A time of visitation and support will be held tonight from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
