Lula L. Berry, 96, formerly of Hayes, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2002, in IHS at Pierremont in Shreveport. Mrs. Berry was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Shreveport. She is survived by one daughter, Alene Duncan and husband, Bill, of Shreveport; one son, Dalton Berry and wife, Jackie, of Covington; one sister, Joyce Greene of Alexandria; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walton, in 1981. Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles on Tuesday, Dec. 3, from 5-7 p.m. Graveside services will be at Big Woods Cemetery on Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 10:30 a.m. The family wishes to thank the staff at IHS at Pierremont for their loving care.
