Linda Lorene Flowers Morgan, 46, born 16 Oct 1945, of Nahunta, died, 10 Feb 1992, at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta after a long illness.
A native of Brantley County (Hortense area), she was the daughter of Onie Lynn Sloan Flowers and the late Lee Ross Flowers. She graduated from Nahunta High School in 1963 and was a member of Raybon Church of God of Prophecy. She had worked at Brunswick Manufacturing Co. in Brunswick.

Besides her mother who resides at Hortense, survivors are her husband, James Landon "J. L." Morgan of Nahunta, two daughters, Jennifer Morgan and Amanda Jackson, both of Nahunta; three sisters, Lillian Roberson of Milledgeville, Frances Keene of Pelion, SC and Pat Oglesby of Sumter, SC; eight brothers, Ronald Flowers of Brunswick and Harvey Flowers, Elbert Flowers, Lloyd Flowers, Lawrence Flowers, Howard Flowers, Ross Flowers Jr. and Wendell Flowers, all of Hortense; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Hortense Church of God of Prophesy with Rev. Ronald Sharpe and Rev. Larry Johns officiating. Burial was in the Hortense Cemetery.
Nephews were pallbearers. Members of Raybon Church of God of Prophesy were honorary pallbearers and were asked to meet at the home of Mrs. Onie Flowers at 2:15 p.m.
Memorials may be given to the building fund of the Raybon Church of God of Prophesy.
Guy Chambless Funeral Home of Nahunta was in charge of arrangements.
