He was a native of Waycross and lived in Florida for a number of years before moving back to Waycross. He was the son of the late Early Cecil Gordon. He was member of Sweat Memorial Baptist Church and had worked in home construction most of his life.
The survivors include a wife, Tina Gordon of Waycross; a daughter, Amanda Gordon of Alma; two step son, Jacob Johnson (wife Windy) and Randall Music both of Waycross; a granddaughter, Hailey Taylor of Alma; his mother, Barbara Gordon of Waycross; a sister, Rita Gordon of Waycross; two brothers, Randy Gordon and Ronnie Gordon, Sr. both of Waycross; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later.
