Mrs. Helen Perry Gonzales, 87, a resident of Ross Nursing Home, formerly of Park Way Avenue, died Wednesday at 4:10 p.m. at City Hospital following an illness of several years.
She was born near Wellsville Nov. 8, 1899, a daughter of the late William Perry and Martha Perry.
Mrs. Gonzales had been a teacher in the East Liverpool and Beaver Local school systems. She was graduated from Kent Normal School, and was a member of the Longs' Run Presbyterian Church.
Her husband, Raymond Gonzales, died Nov. 8, 1984.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Nell Pershon of Wellsville.
The Rev. Clyde Davis is to conduct services Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Martin Funeral Home. Burial is to be in Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday afternoon and evening.
