She was born near Harrah, OK to Ike & Mary (Wasik) Wajda. She was married to Johnny for 40 years. They were married 10-26-1937. He passed away in 1977.

She was a skilled homemaker, had a wonderful sense of humor, never met a stranger, and was appreciated by everyone she knew. She was active in St. Patrick's Catholic Church alter society and guilds, St. Patrick's school Girl Scouts, and Catholic Women's Activities Club. She served multiple terms as president of the Polonia (Polish club) Society of Oklahoma, and was Hospitality Chairman for the neighborhood association for 10 years. She and Johnny helped build St. Patrick's school and church. They were members since 1950. After her children left home, she worked as a salesperson for several retail stores.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers, and one sister.

She is survived by her son, John; daughters, Beverly and Shirley (Lonnie); grandson, David (Therese); two great-grandchildren, Timothy and Sophie; one sister, Julia; and multiple nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, located at 19th & Portland, Oklahoma City, OK.
