Mrs. John F. Robinson
Mrs. Alice Baldwin Robinson died at 7:50 Sunday morning at the Bassett hospital in Cooperstown, where she had been a patient only since Wednesday evening. She had been in good health, attending a social function on the preceding day when late Wednesday evening she suffered a heart attack from which she failed to Rally.
Funeral services were held at the Tillapaugh Funeral home in Milford Tuesday at 1 o'clock. The Rev. William J. Brown, pastor of Milford Methodist church, officiated, assisted by the Rev. Walter A. Miller, pastor of Westville Baptist church.
She was born at Westville, May 28, 1880, a daughter of Philo and Augusta (Baldwin) Baldwin. December 3, 1899, she was married at Westville to John F. Robinson, who survives.
She had always resided in this vicinity and in Milford for twenty three years. She was a member of Baptist church at Westville but since her residence here had been an active worker in the Methodist Ladies' Aid and other church activities. She was much respected in the community and had many friends who will mourn her passing.
Besides the husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Paul D. Aspinwall, Oneonta; one granddaughter, Louise Aspinwall, Oneonta, and two sisters, Miss Maude Baldwin, Binghamton, and Mrs. Lester Holcomb, Eldred, Pa.
