KERNER, RACHEL ( REISWIG)*
Rachel Kerner, 80, of Lodi, died Saturday evening in a local convalescent hospital following a lengthy illness.
A native of Milltown, S. D. she moved to Lodi in 1923 from Canada and was a member of the Seventh-day Church of God.
Survivors include her husband, William Kerner of Lodi; three daughters, Mrs. Violet K Castles of Stockton, Mrs. Thelma Garrison of San Jose and Mrs. Katherine Roth of Clements; two brothers, Edward Reiswig of Downieville, and Reinhold Reiswig of Lodi; 11 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the Gierhart and Wells Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Childers of the Seventh-day Church of God officiating. Burial will be in Woodbridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today. Memorials may be sent to the Seventh-day Church of God, 226 Poplar, or to the American Cancer Society.
