TIMOTHY PEARL was born in Bradford, Mass, February 23, 1694/5; died in Windham, Conn., October 9, 1773; married, first, in Andover, Mass, August 24, 1722, Elizabeth, daughter of Nathan and Elizabeth (Abbot) Stevens. She was born in Andover, October 14, 1697, and died in Windham, August 28, 1736. Her father, Nathan Stevens, was the son of Lieutenant John Stevens, who died in the service at Casco, March 5, 1689, and Hannah Barnard (daughter of Robert and Joan (Harvey) Barnard), his wife. Lieutenant John Stevens was the son of John Stevens, who came from Caversham, England, in 1638, and Sarah, his wife. Elizabeth Abbot, the mother of Timothy Pearl’s wife, was the daughter of George Abbot, of Andover, and Hannah Chandler (daughter of William and Annice (Alcock) Chandler), his wife. Timothy Pearl was living in Windham at the time of his marriage. After the death of his first wife he married. in Windham, November 15, 1737, Mary, daughter of James and Mary Leach.
