Saundra K. Cooper, 64, of Chillicothe, died at 1:03 a.m. Friday, February 6, 2009, in Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born April 5, 1944, in Black Fork, OH. On June 12, 1960, she married Frank W. Cooper, Sr., who preceded her in death on September 21, 2003.

Surviving are her son, Frank Cooper, Jr.; daughter, Tracie Cooper, both of Chillicothe; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie (Guillaume) Provost, Covington, WA; 7 grandchildren, Britt, Brandon, T.J., Trey, Janie, Francois, Christophe; 3 greatgrandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Brenton (Connie) Austin, Canal Winchester; William Austin, Clearwater, FL, Rich (Kim) Austin, Pickerington; sisters, Maude Lee, Canal Winchester; and Mona Washington, Portsmouth; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Kathleen J. (Craddolph) Washington; her stepfather, Emmett Washington; and a brother, David Austin.

Sandy had worked at Chillicothe High School as a hall monitor for 10 years. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services were entrusted to Haller Funeral Home of Chillicothe, Ohio.
