Edward Beauchot, who several weeks ago underwent an operation for appendicitis at the St. Joseph hospital, Fort Wayne, has recovered sufficient to enable his return home and is able to be about his place of business and streets, but yet quite feeble.

Journal Gazette - April 25, 1956

Edward H. Beauchot of 4707 Fairfield Avenue, died yesterday morning in St. Anthony's Hospital, St. Petersburg, Fla., where he had been admitted a week ago after suffering a heart attack. Mr. Beauchot was vacationing when stricken.
A native of Monroeville, Mr. Beauchot had resided here about 35 years.
Mr. Beauchot was a member of the Catholic Church, the Southwest Conservation Club and the Elks Lodge.
Surviving are the wife, Fay; three sisters, Miss Frances Beauchot, Mrs. Rose Hagan and Miss Marie Neasel, all of Fort Wayne and four brothers, Clarence, Leo, Maurice and Bernard, all of Monroeville.
The body will be returned here Thursday morning and will be taken to the Mungovan & Sons Mortuary.
