West Lafayette Ind -- Josephine W.Hinkle 82 , George Davis Manor died at 1:15 pm Tuesday March 21 , 1995 at the facilty. She was born June 18 , 1912 in Flora to Burt and Goldie (Moore) Wallace. She married on April 11 , 1931 to Paul E Hinkle who preceded her in death on Oct. 5 , 1992. She was a 1930 graduate of Flora High School. She was employed as a telephone operator in Kokomo, a secretary for the Howard County Department of Welfare , and was a hardware buyer. She lived in Kokomo from 1935 to 1992 and was a 50 year member and past Worthy Matron of Burlington Order of Eastern Star and a member of Russiaville Order of the Eastern Star No130. Surviving are six nephews, Richard Wallace, Kenneth Potter and Larry Potter all of Indianapolis, William Potter of West Lafayette, James Potter of Thorntown, and Jerry Potter of Bloomington; three nieces Margaret Kirkpatrick of West Lafayette, Sara Hostetler of Naperville and Susan Zobbe of Indianapolis, and a sister- in- Law, Mrs Gerald Wallace of Indianapolis. Also preceding her in death was a brother. Services will be at 2pm Friday at Neptune Funeral Home in Burlington. The Rev Carl Arthur will officiate. Burial will be at the Burlington Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 pm Thursday at the funeral home with the Order of the Eastern Star rite to be at 7:30 pm
