Mr. Archie Currie, 71, of Flynn Township, passed away on Friday, March 15, 1963, in the Port Huron General Hospital, after a short illness.

Archie Currie was born November 2, 1891, in Maple Valley Township and lived there and in Flynn Township all of his life.

In 1920 he and Jennie Plaine were married in Flynn Township and lived there on a farm. She preceded him in death in 1938.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John Pemberton (Violet) of Port Huron and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. C.C. Fulton on March 19th in the Marsh Funeral Home at 2 o'clock. Palbearers were the Messrs. Lloyd Mahaffy, Russell Hillman, William Vandewarker, William Wilcox, Renton Proctor, and Melton Proctor. Interment was in the Omard Cemetery in Omard, Michigan.

The remains are in Marsh Funeral Home, Marlette.
