William F. Harney, 74, of Springfield, died Saturday at Claudia's Nursing Home. Mr. Harney was born in Waverly. A member of the Eagles lodge, he had been a resident of Springfield for 50 years.
Surviving are his wife Bertha D. Harney; three daughters, Mrs. Florence Long, Mrs. Helen Thompson and Mrs. Charlotte Collyard, all of Chicago; four step-sons, Edward Landholt, Richard Landholt, and Raymond Landholt, all of Springfield and Floyd Reenstine, Peoria; one brother, Kenneth Harney, of Plainwell, Mich.; one sister, Mrs. Maude Nelson, of Springfield; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
