Missouri Adeline Hill, (Better known as Addie), the daughter of Jess and Martha Walker, was born March 22, 1881 in Texas County Missouri in the Plum Valley community. She died June 29, 1967 in Houston , making her age at time of death 86 years 3 months and 7 days. She was united in marriage to William Thomas Hill August 31,1897 in West Plains, Mo. , and to this union 8 children were born. Surviving are 4 daughters, Mrs. Nellie Porter, Commerce, Okla. ; Mrs. Eva j Hall, Houston; Mrs, Mae Burris, Success; and Mrs. Hazel Smithson of Dewey Okla. ; two sons, Gus of Ellis Prairie, Henry of Eldorado, Kan. , 7 grandchildren , 14 great-grandchildren, 6 great- great- grandchildren, one brother Henry Walker of Houston, and a host of nieces and nephews. Her husband William Thomas, one daughter Josie Pearl, one son Raymond Aubrey, preceded her in death. She was a member of the Roby Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Sunday July 2, in the Evans Elliott Chapel Rev. Bill Carter officiating. Burial in the Emery Cemetery. Pallbearer s were George M. Dixon, Bill Hall, Frank Hall, Jr. , Howard Todd, Roger Hall and Bill Shelton.
