Pansy was the one of five children. She had three brother's, Clarence, Melvin, and her "baby brother" Jesse Claude (Claude) Newman, and one sister, Ellen. Her mother, Bessie Graves Newman passed away about 1920. Her father, Charles Culbert Newman, passed away about 1923. Pansy had two daughter's, Bettye and Shirley. She was married to Dewey Burns until his death August 15, 1962. She remarried years later to William Webb, and was married until her death in 1972. She passed away from Brain Cancer.
