LUELLA SNYDER PASSES AWAY ON WEDNESDAY
TIPTON-Mrs. Luella Snyder, 90, 136 Independence Street, Tipton, passed away at her home here Wednesday night at 8:20 pm. She was born in Van Wert, Ohio, on May 27, 1870, the daughter of Thomas and Margaret Buckles Cromer. She was married in Elwood on December 25 1888, to William Snyder who died on December 27, 1950. Mrs. Snyder was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist church in Tipton. The body was taken to Young's Funeral home in Tipton where friends may call aft 7 pm this everning. Services will be held in the Wesleyan Methodist Church here at 10 a.m. Saturday with Rev. E. L. Kierstead of Marion officiating. She will be taken to the church an hour prior to the rites. Burial will be in the Forrestville Cemetery near Summitville. Survivors include: a daughter, Mrs. Boyd Hinkle of Tipton; two sons, Raymond Snyder of Kokomo and Virgil Snyder of Tipton; four half-sisters, Mrs. Jesse Peters of Alexandria, Mrs. Pearl Slater of Anderson and Mrs. Mollie Waymire, of Summitville; one half brother, Arley Shaffer of Summitville, six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
