Joe Ann Strickland Douglas, 64 (b. 2 Mar 1936), of Flagler Beach, FL, died (28 Nov 2000) at Ormond Beach Memorial Hospital in Ormond Beach, FL.

A native of Brantley County, she was a daughter of the late J. B. Strickland and Beatrice Kelly. She was a property appraiser with the county government and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are her husband, William Bill Douglas of Flagler Beach, FL; two sons, Alan D. Douglas (wife Pam) of Flagler Beach, FL, and Gene B. Douglas (wife Wendy) of Clarksville, TN; five grandchildren, Heather, Justin, Jacob, Joseph and Sheila Douglas; a brother, Charles Strickland of Hortense; three sisters, Linda Brooker of Hortense, Hattie Tyson of Deland, FL, and Pam Salomon of Tampa, FL.

The funeral was held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 2, at Twin Rivers Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Rowell officiating.

Pallbearers were Justin Douglas, Joseph Douglas, Joey Strickland, Mack Beasley, Jacob Douglas and Nick Wagner.
