Ivan Hunter of Norman, IN, died Thursday, June 4, 1998, at Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born in Norman, IN, on January 12, 1930, he was the son of Doyle and Nellie (Henderson) Hunter. He married Barbara Bailey on April 5, 1952, at the Free Methodist Church in Bedford, IN, and she survives.

Also surviving are two sons: Gary Hunter of Ocala, FL, and Doyle Hunter of Indianapolis; three daughters: Sharon Baldwin and Carol Hunter, both of Norman, IN, and JoAnne Godsey of Bedford, IN; eight grandchildren, and one niece. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Carl Hunter; and one brother, Garis Hunter.

He was pastor of visitation for four years at Bedford Free Methodist Church and Pastor of Lyons Free Methodist Church for ten years.

Services for Ivan Hunter will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 6th, at the Free Methodist Church in Bedford. Burial will follow in Gilgal Cemetery at Heltonville, IN.
