He was a native of Carter County and lived most of his life in Johnson County. Mr. Dugger was a son of James E. and Dollie Neff Dugger of Butler.
He was of the Church of God faith and was a former textile worker and former truck driver. Mr. Dugger was also a graduate of Johnson County High School. He enjoyed fishing, the lake and grilling out. Mr. Dugger served in the U.S. Air Force during peacetime.
Survivors in addition to his parents, include his wife of eleven years, Linda J. Roark Dugger, of the home, two sisters, Kathy Morefield, Butler, Delores Moore, Rogersville, TN, three brothers, Edward Lynn Dugger, Quittman, TX, Mitchell Dugger, Knoxville, TN, Johnny Dugger, Butler, several nieces and nephews and three aunts, Hazel Pierce, Bluff City, Rosa Hodge, Elizabethton, and Kate Fritts, Rogersville, TN.
Interment will be in Sugar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Butler.
