SAUK CITY/ ST. CHARLES, ILL. - Ronald P Alwin, age 68, died on Saturday, May 19, 2007. He was born in Baraboo on April 1.4, 1939, the son of the late Herman and Evelyn (Lehman) Alwin. He graduated from Lawrence College in 1962 and the University of Chicago Law School in 1965. He lived in the Chicago area since graduating from college and spent most of his career working for Cook County Public Defenders Office and at one time was the chief of the Appellate Division. He is survived by two sons, Scott (Yvette Shields) Alwin of Chicago, Ill., and Martin Alvin of St. Charles, Ill.; a brother, Rodney (Carol) Alwin of Loveland, Colo.; and a grandson, Wesley Alwin. A funeral service will be held at DENZER UNITED METHODIST CHURCH at 12 noon on Saturday, May 26, 2007, with Pastor Listowel Ayensu-Mensah officiating. Burial will be in the Denzer Cemetery.
