Actor, Songwriter. He appeared in original Broadway production of the musical "Hair", and was the original 'King Herod' in London production of "Jesus Christ Superstar". He wrote the song 'Last Dance' for Donna Summer, winning an Oscar and a Grammy for it. He wrote the song 'The Main Event' for Barbra Streisand and co-wrote (with Paul Shaffer) 'It's Raining Men' for the "Weather Girls".
