Funeral services for Douglas J. "Doug" Dodd, 45, of Tallahassee, Fla., will be held today, Wednesday, at 2 p.m. at, Wildwood Presbyterian Church in Tallahassee with the Revs. Darwin Box and Bob Evans officiating.
Interment will follow in the Attapulgus Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Dodd died Sunday, July 3, 2005, at the home of his parents in Attapulgus. He was born in Orlando, Fla., and was a graduate of Leon High School and Tallahassee Community College. He attended Florida State University. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran with the rank of captain, and served as a logistics officer stateside during the Gulf War. He was a licensed building contractor. He was a member of Wildwood Presbyterian Church and a former member of Killearn United Methodist Church of Tallahassee, Fla.
Survivors include a son, Dublin Charles Dodd of Tallahassee; a daughter, Daphne Claire Dodd, also of Tallahassee; his parents, Jack and Kay Dodd of Attapulgus; three brothers, Desmond Dodd of Attapulgus, David Dodd and Dwight Dodd, both of Tallahassee; and other relatives.
