Clarence Lawrence - West Lafayette: Clarence B Lawrence, 72, of West Lafayette, died at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 24, 1966, at the Flat Ridge Church in Knox Township of an apparent heart attack while helping repair the church.
Born March 19, 1894 at Bird's Run, Knox, Guernsey, Ohio, he was a son of Newton and Elizabeth Jones Lawrence. He retired in 1960 as custodian of the Jones Metal Products Company. Prior to his retirement, he had operated a farm for 31 years in Knox township.
He was a lifelong member of Bird's Run Baptist Church and also of Bird's Run Grange. He was a World War 1 veteran.
