Pansy Elizabeth Brasier, 81, daughter of Cordo and Lulu McMillian Crews, was born Feb. 9, 1915, at Crocker. She died May 11, 1996, at the Kabul Nursing Home, where she had been a resident for the last two years.

The Crews family moved to a farm near Roby when she was three. She graduated from Crocker High School in 1935.

She married Bill Brasier in July of 1935. They had three children and lived on the family farm at Roby. She retired from civil service at Fort Leonard Wood in 1970.

Mrs. Brasier was a member of the Roby Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1988; and by two sisters and six brothers.

Surviving are her children, Johnnie Brasier of Pomona, William Ray Brasier of Springfield and Berna Dene Winfrey of Mission, Kan.; three brothers, Lee Crews and Stanley Crews of St. Louis and John Crews of Koshkonong; one sister Fern Gann of St. Louis; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services were May 14 at the Roby Christian Church with Eugene Earp officiating. Burial was in the Long Hollow Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home of Houston.
