Alvie Skelton

Alvie Harold Skelton was born June 20, 1890, at Cabery, Ford County, Illinois, the son of James Henry Skelton and Ruth Foote Skelton.
Graveside services were conducted at 3 pm Monday, in the Oak Lawn Memorial Park for Alvie Harold Skelton, 79 who apparently took his life by hanging Thursday in the garage of his home at 421 West I Street.
In addition to his widow, Ona May Skelton of Oakdale, he is survived by his brother, William Skelton of Minnesota; sister Edith Ferner of Los Angeles; daughter, Delma Sholl of Utah; son, Spencer McGrath of Redwood city; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Arrangements were by the Oakdale Memorial Chapel.
May he rest in peace.
